Euchre is an excellent game. With four euchre players residing at 11419 as of summer 2011 (and how much longer?), it's the game of choice. Always the same matchup: PJ and I v. CPG and PJr.

There has been lots of woofing about relative quality of play among the contestants. In an effort to replace woofing with fact, we're collecting (and trying to make sense of) hard data from our many games. Unfortunately, availability of data has only increased the woofing from CPG and PJr - so far.

But here's the #1 thing to remember: in the long run, skill prevails over luck.

Stat set #2 (through June 13, 2011)

Four more sessions, 15 games total.

In comparison to stat set 1 below, PJr and CPG switched roles in terms of effectiveness.

I'll start doing "season to date" information after I get caught up on more sessions.

Statistics through May 26, 2011

Below is cumulative data from the first four playing sessions.

CPG was off to a strong start.  We'll see if that holds up, I intend to post data from additional games in the very near future.

Bidding tendencies among the players are quickly evident even from this small sample size.
